This is a list for the guidelines governing content to be provided to be shared with the Melbourne Business Network (MBN) and its members.
With our origins dating back to 1994, the MBN is a non-profit which was created for the purpose of connecting and promoting businesses amongst our members located within the 15 postcodes of the municipality of Melbourne.
Since our inception, Melbourne and our network has experienced significant growth and likewise our mandate has evolved.
Many businesses have been impacted by the shift created by the influx of technology and social media channels.
Most recently most businesses have been affected by the recent economic downturns that have occurred across the globe.
With many businesses having an online presence, it is safe to say that even if located in Melbourne, they may have suppliers, clients, partners and even team members located anywhere in the world.
Our aim therefore is to help businesses that are members regardless of their location as they may be able to help or partner with our Melbourne and Victorian businesses and contribute to our local economy.
The purpose of this guide is to ensure that members get provided access to consistent content. Content that is aligned with the values of the Melbourne Business Network.
Of course, it goes without saying all content should be positive, provide value and help organisations in their business and personal recovery.
All content should not be inflammatory, offensive or promote self-harm.
To add any content to the MBN platform, the provider of that information confirms that they have the rights by law to do so.
